Why pay $300 to someone else to replace your broken digitizer this is "How to replace iPhone digitizer"
1. Unscrew bottom two screws on the bottom
2. Next use thin and hard plastic tool (e.g. made from plastic utencils) to remove the screen. You should take good care not to scratch or damage the casing. Insert the tool between digitizer and case and pop the case open carefully from the bottom.
3. Carefully disconnect the wires (1 and 2 in the photo) that connect screen, digitizer and button to the mainboard. All in all there are 3 wires two first ones pop out just by lifting them carefully and the third one can be disconnected by pulling it away from the case.
4. Now that you have the phone in two parts take the screen/digitizer and unscrew 5 screws that attach the screen to digitizer. Screws are on both sides of the screen. 5. When you have removed the screws carefully lift the screen out of the digitizer cradle.
6. Use industrial airblower to make the original adhesive that is holding the digitizer cradle and digitizer together, make sure you apply heat only to bottom and top. And take extra care so you don't melt the cradle. When the adhesive is warm it comes off relatively easily and you are able to take the digitizer out.
7. Put new digitizer in, connect all wires and screw back all screws and you're all done.
