How to repair broken CD-drive latch spring in Philips computers
1. Unscrew screws that holds sidepanel in place, and take sidepanel out. Usually 2 screws in the back. 2. Unscrew screws that hold the rest 2/3's of the covers in place. Usually 1 screw on top in the backside and two on the side. 3. Gently pull back the remaining cover 4. Unhinge black plastic "locks" both sides and slide the front panel out, remember to unplug all wires that are going to the front panel before taking the panel out. 5. Replace the broken spring 6.
